Crispin "Dil" Chaluisan
Graf artist and urban pioneer Crispin "Dil" Chaluisan has a career cut from as many raw, diverse, and contradictory pieces as his piecing. Born in the Bronx, New York on November 13, 1964, Dil (short for "Dillinger") saw his entire world as his canvas and graffiti as his outlet.

While Cris "Dil" Chaluisan has never left the street, he's added some formal "pieces" to his palette, getting a BFA at New York University and an AFA at the School of Visual Arts.

Always reaching out for new sources of inspiration and new venues to present his art, Cris has crossed the street into the boardroom, counting BMW, AT&T and Philip Morris among his corporate clients. You can see many of his works in private collections and art publications.

His work has also been recently seen as part of the Five Years In Iraq War show at Java Studios in Brooklyn; the Flashback show in Chicago; The Summer Jump Off at New York?s Crudo Bar; the Tony Brush Production of The Return of the Bklyn Kings in Brooklyn; and Back to School in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Recent commissions include: a rooftop mural at The New Design School, NYC; Albus Cavis, Art Walk Park, New Brunswick, NJ; Art Around the Park, Lower East Side Art Association; and 5 Pointz, Queens, NYC.
