Rules of the Game:

We will let you know via email by mid August if you have a spot reserved for Art Around the Park: Most works will be approximately 7 and 1/2 feet square; a few spots will be only 4 feet wide and if you want one of these let us know. On site sign in will start at 10:30 on Saturday morning September 11, 2010. The registration table will be on the west side of Tompkins Square Park near East 9th Street. Anyone who has not been signed in by 11:45 may expect to lose their spot to someone on the wait list. You are responsible for schlepping your materials, setting up and keeping your immediate area clean. Given that this is an outdoor event, if there is the possibility of rain, please bring additional drop cloths to protect your work. Spray painters can only work on Saturday. All work must remain in place until Sunday 9/12/10 at 6:30 PM when we will break down and you must be available to take your piece home with you. Lastly, we need volunteers to help frame the canvass and put down the drop cloth starting 7:30 am to 11:00 am on Saturday morning so if you cannot help out, please find a friend who is willing. We all can't wait to see your creations!
